Clinical Training in the U.S. and Jamaica

A Worldwide Clinical Network for Your MD Journey

WUSOM has built long-standing relationships with trusted hospital and clinical centers across the United States and the Caribbean. These connections give students a breadth of clinical knowledge across different patient populations and healthcare environments—a foundation no single hospital system could provide on its own.

WUSOM students complete supervised clinical rotations at affiliated teaching hospitals in the USA and Jamaica—gaining hands-on experience across diverse healthcare systems before stepping into residency.

These clinical affiliations allow students to:

  •  Gain international clinical exposure and real-world patient care experience.
  •  Learn medicine across different regions and diverse clinical settings.
  •  Build connections with attending physicians and residency program faculty.
  • Work with real patients under experienced supervision.
  •  Prepare for the clinical demands of U.S. residency training.
