Whether you live in the area or come from a distant place, such as Houston, Calgary, or Newark, you may need time to adjust to the robust pace, schedule, and workload of a medical student.
\nThese are some of the resources that could benefit you during your time at WUSOM:
\n\u2022 Student Advisory and Support Program (SASP)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Registration in\u00a0this program is a requirement<\/a>. SASP provides academic support, as well as help with maintaining an optimal lifestyle while attending classes in St. Kitts. You will first be assigned a mentor. This individual will advise you in relation to your academic objectives. You might discuss topics that affect all students, such as proper sleep habits, your diet, physical fitness, time management, and developing study skills. You should feel free to raise any issues that could impede your ability to attain your medical school goals. You mentor may refer you to various other resources and programs that pertain to your circumstances.
