As a graduate of our medical school, you could have opportunities to do your residency in a broad variety of American and Canadian hospitals and universities, from Chicago to Decatur, Newfoundland, Ontario, and more.<br \/>\n<strong>Exploring American Hospitals Affiliated with WUSOM<\/strong><br \/>\nTo give you a solid idea of the hospitals at which you might be placed in residency, we have provided some examples of American\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.windsor.edu\/about-us\/clinical-affilates\/\">hospitals with which WUSOM is affiliated:<\/a><br \/>\n<strong>\u2022 Jackson Park Hospital\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 This hospital is in Chicago, Illinois, and it has served the area for close to a century. WUSOM has been affiliated in educational partnerships with several other Chicago hospitals, as well, including Norwegian American Hospital (winner of the prestigious 2017 American Hospital Association NOVA Award), Access Community Health Network (the largest provider of community health care in the Chicago area), and Holy Cross Hospital (part of the Sinai Health System, which is known for its high-quality outpatient and inpatient services).<br \/>\n<strong>\u2022 Westlake Hospital\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Westlake Hospital can be found in Melrose Park, which is a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. One of Westlake Hospital\u2019s objectives is to be a top career destination for medical professionals in the region.<br \/>\n<strong>\u2022 Memorial Herman Memorial City Medical Center\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Located in Houston, Texas, this hospital has provided excellent health care to area residents since the 1970s. The hospital has expanded its facilities to provide the highest level of comfort to patients.<br \/>\n<strong>\u2022 Georgia Regional Hospital, Atlanta, GA<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 This hospital is in Decatur, Georgia. Georgia Regional is a publicly-owned facility, and it is operated by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD).<br \/>\n<strong>\u2022 Griffin Memorial Hospital, Norman, OK<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Located in Norman, Oklahoma, this hospital offers a top-notch psychiatric residency program. They have the largest inpatient facility in the state of Oklahoma.<br \/>\n<strong>\u2022 Genesys Regional Medical Center, MI<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 This hospital in Grand Blanc, Michigan, takes great pride in its Centers of Excellence, which include a heart institute, orthopedic services, an oncology team, a neuroscience and stroke care unit, and a surgery team.<br \/>\n<strong>\u2022 Canadian Hospitals and Universities<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 WUSOM graduates have also been placed in residency at some well-known Canadian universities and hospitals, from Ontario to Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, and more.
